A viola plays in a noticeably lower pitch than a violin. It doesn't have the higher registry of notes he was performing here where he was fingering the notes.

I started to learn the violin a month ago and there are so many wonderful songs I look forward to playing someday - this one especially. Your rendition is perfect intonation, and I envy your vibratos man. I'm really struggling with that technique at the moment. I feel like I'm doing pushups and attempting to run at the same time!

I know it's good i can play some basic songs now, and I study and practice over 4 hours a day since I'm retired and can. Thank you for sharing this amazing video.
