The nsr is known for having better durability, but i like the mito to.

Here's my opinion of some pros and cons of the three bikes:

Honda NSR:

Pros - Japanese reliability

Cons - The lowest claimed HP of the three / The weakest brakes / Upright suspension

Cagiva Mito:

Pros - Good looks(916 Rep) / Brake are OVERKILL / Very stable / USD forks / Steering damper

Cons - Crap charging system / LOADS of parts changes / Italian electrics

Aprilia RS125:

Pros - Best handling of the 3 / easy 2 find parts / Looks

Cons - Thief magnet / Some aren't looked after/ Some lack PV's

honda is more reliable but cagiva is made for pure speed and then pop! my cagiva mito fucking moves and i beat a nsr the other day so who knows.. seemed to stick next to each other until about 70 but then i started pulling away got to about 90 and the nsr was waaay behind so.. yeah.. both derestricted he had arrow i had derestricted stock exhaust

Sure the Cagiva is very good. But I have a Honda NSR 125 JC22. It´s awsome. Realy you can´t belive this. The Topspeed is over 160 kilometres an hour. realy nice.

the best moments are if you accerate. this feeling is like the FREEEFALL. :-D ok my english is not so good but allright...!

My bro's got a 1996 NSR with arrow exhaust and its awsome. I've never riden a mito or RS but if i bought one myself it would have to be the Aprilia. I love the detail like polished swing arm it's ace. The aprilia in my opinion is quite simply one hundred and twenty five cc's of pure italian lovleyness. All three are awsome bikes though.

I own a year 2000 evo 2 Cagiva mito and i use it daily. I love the bike. Its aesthetically beautiful and has a pretty good top end for a 125. The aprilla is a pretty good looking bike as well. I have yet to ride a NSR 125 so cant comment there.

@TheJokerWolf lol rs is not for commuting, it's like killing the bike. Also first time i hear smth about the exhaust downpipes. I got mine used, it had 1300 km on it and at least 4 years immobilised. Now it is at 4k km, engine is working like a clock, handling is even better. In twisties nsr has nothing on the rs, maybe at top speed, but who cares about top speed at a 125cc bike? lol

1)nsr 125 and mito has 0-100sec in 6, RS in 7sec

2)the NSR is made by Honda, so its the most reliable. The RS is quite durable, but its parts are extremely expensive. I dont know much about the Mito.

3)Top speed: Mito:170km/h RS and NSR 160Km/h.

BTW, here in Finland, NSR has 31bhp in full powered. and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 7sec. Full powered means only main jet change from 132-135, intake flap off and empty your exhaust.

@tuomasyb Well, my model 2003 NSR takes all 14 liters of gasoline in 470km. It brakes are even with YZF-R 125... Suspensions only problem is front forks oil seals which broke quite often. About your DT... If you can drive 30tkm with single piston in a fullpowered bike, then it's more reliable... And Mito is just overrated bike about power.

@TwoSmallSausages Hmm..as i know, the nsr has 26hp and rs(mito has 32hp orginal but in some counties, the 125cc is restricted to 15hp. This becos you can ride it at age 16. If you remove the restictions, you get hp as the bike was orgenally from factory. It`s also possible to tune this bikes. Rs/mito can reach around 40hp BUT you are right in some way becos this was before. Nowdays, all 125cc is produce orgenally from factory with max 15hp and more and more are also 4stroke

Well, NSR is the best option. Why? Simple, it has best torque at low rpm and full power comes at lower rpms too. It takes less gas, 3L/100km. Mito instead is more high rpm bike. Full power comes 3000rpm higher than NSR:s. It takes much more gasoline, about 5-6L/100km. It's fast i don't say that, but not fastest of all... Suzuki RGF is faster with sugaya exhaust and sprockets. Well RS then, it's like Mito but Aprilia. It goes little slower but has more power. Face the reality.
