Excellent singing! She has great dramatic sense and excellent musicality. Her technique is very very good! She only lacks a more varied and dramatic use of vocal colours and of the phrasing, but she'll learn that as she matures her artistry. She's already a wonderful singer!

So the poor scenary make sense.And it gives more liberty to the singers to express them selfs and their acting :D

As you may know the original story of the la traviata comes from 'La dame aux Camelias' written by A.Dumas and there Dumas tells that violetta was really poor before dieing and all things that she owned were taken by creditors.
