I love star wars, everything about it. It makes me cry, laugh, smile, and release my emotions. It is more than a movie to me, its a whole part of my life.
Silence at the end of a movie screening isn't "the highest possible compliment from a Japanese audience." It's just normal for theatergoers in Japan to quietly wait for the credits to finish before they speak or leave the theater. It's a point of courtesy to other moviegoers.
@reviewreviewer1 With Attack of the Clones being a love story, and Lucas not being the best at writing romantic dialogue, have another director for AOTC might have been a better choice.
@BoukenCrimson I see but he did a good job on the original trilogy didn`rt he, don`t forget he co-wrote the screnplays of the sequels also Jonathan Hales co-wrote II!!!!!!
@BoukenCrimson He should have just gotten Kershner to do it again, because the AOTC love story was not only the most forced love story in the history of cinema but it was just painful and boring to watch
god what george must have been thinking when the movie turned out to be a hit. a big f u to the people who didnt believe in him. redemption at its best.
@gamersofsweden08 the third film was originally called "revenge of the jedi" but lucas changed it to "return" at the last minute. so all the promotional posters leading up to the film said "revenge".
This 2004 documentary is called "Empire of Dreams: The Story of the 'Star Wars' Trilogy." It was produced by Kevin Burns and Edith Becker, and narrated by Robert Clotworthy. The 15-part playlist ID is PLBFFF374F493658D8. You can find it by searching my playlists, by LoudCitizen.
@milosmicky I wont say they're not as good as the old ones, because a lot of work has obviously been put into them, but they definitely don't have the same feel as the old movies.
@YaikonMetal Old movies were great, no doubt. But, why only six episodes. ST is going to have now a new movie, more than 5 spin of, from the original tv series, and SW had some lime tv shows, and now this medium not so important Clone wars cartoon. Doesnt anyone beside me, want new heroes, new villans, new planets, more force powers, aliens... THUMB UP FOR NEW SW MOVIES!!!
theres nothing wrong with merchendising but using it is stupid if your 30 years and have a dool of vader you need a life. But if you want to give it to your child that makes sense .The child need this movie to learn about life . And yes only first 3 movie , not the new ones which are just so terrible i hope the people who made the films last 3 die . Its all made behind a blue screen terrible
@system0system0 Even if you're using it for decoration is stupid, or what if you're going to a convention and want to dress up as a character, you have issues with that too?
@system0system0 wo uhmm calm down i love all the movies except episode 1 it asnt to good, an u shouldnt say every1 who worked on the movies should die, it was george lucas scripts and screen play, and ya cant wish him to die cause without him no digital suround, no pixar, no digital enhancment its all his company and ILM so think b4 u say something its one thing to say u dnt like movies but dnt go that far
I fell asleep watching Star Wars revenge of the CGI. That would never happen with the earlier more interesting movies like Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back.
I remember when I was young I got one of my best friends an inflatable light saber for his birthday. That was the best present he ever got and he played with it till it was no more.
There was supposed to be a 10 minute segment about the Star Wars Hoilday Special in which Lucas explained of his regrets on not control over the Star Wars fanchise. It was cut which according to the Producers due to pacing reasons. Though most likely, they didn't want to remind the Star Wars fans about it.
I dont like Avatar because for me, it was a bit too boring and I didn't really get in the mood that was presented in the movie, the idea was great, but it wasn't produced right.
As a kid at the time, I was amazed there was a sequel! The goodies had taken on the baddies, won and lived happily ever after as far as I was concerned!
