By definition science isn't atheistic, on the personal level of scientists it's probalby closer to agnostic. Not all atheist understand it, but some theists do.

Of course is not talking about evolution nor creation, just how radiocarbon works. It is always the position of the creationists that all radio metric testing are at best useless, and evo scientists use the geologic table which only exists in the books to decide how old everything is. Is a video to enlighten that is all.

I think it would really help the discussion along if you would indicate exactly what part of the video indicates that radiocarbon dating shoots down evolution. I am guessing that it is because this method of dating only takes us back 60,000 years. Well, that happens to be the limit for radiocarbon dating, since by then the ratio of carbon-14 becomes too small to measure. However lead-lead dating can take us back billions of years, and is one of the methods that give us the age of the earth.
Incidentally, your use of the blanket term "atheists are losing it" suggests that you believe in essentialism: the notion that if a person possesses characteristic X, then they also possess characteristics Y, Z, A etc. Humanity has fought so long to discard this faulty thinking, since it has caused so much trouble, so I would encourage you to discard it too, and instead treat humans as individuals, for the purely practical reason that you will avoid making erroneous assumptions about people.

Deluding myself? Not quite. Fundamental particles materialize all the time - it's simply a matter of Energy to Mass conversion. Once those particles exist the formation of the heavier elements occurs via natural processes. The question (that still must be answered) is where all the energy came from...

Evolution is documented in labs and in nature, with repeatable results confirmed by peer review. It is supported by phylogeny, paleontology, biology, and many other scientific fields.
Our understanding of it has helped improve our understanding of genetic engineering, medicine, zoology and practical applications in engineering.
By definition science isn't atheistic, on the personal level of scientists it's probalby closer to agnostic. Not all atheist understand it, but some theists do.

I especially do not understand why you favorited the Radiocarbon Dating video. Do you think it supported your religious position in some way or did you just find it interesting?

@aestimatio I found the video interesting in that it shoots the claims of evolutionists that radiocarbon dating is accurate and is not. Of course is not talking about evolution nor creation, just how radiocarbon works. It is always the position of the creationists that all radio metric testing are at best useless, and evo scientists use the geologic table which only exists in the books to decide how old everything is. Is a video to enlighten that is all.

@younhol00 I have watched the Radiocarbon Dating video twice. All I saw and heard was how the process of radiocarbon dating works. Nowhere in the video did I see any information that "shoots the claims of evolutionists that radiocarbon dating is accurate." What information in the video made you conclude that that was the case?

I think it would really help the discussion along if you would indicate exactly what part of the video indicates that radiocarbon dating shoots down evolution. I am guessing that it is because this method of dating only takes us back 60,000 years. Well, that happens to be the limit for radiocarbon dating, since by then the ratio of carbon-14 becomes too small to measure. However lead-lead dating can take us back billions of years, and is one of the methods that give us the age of the earth.

Incidentally, your use of the blanket term "atheists are losing it" suggests that you believe in essentialism: the notion that if a person possesses characteristic X, then they also possess characteristics Y, Z, A etc. Humanity has fought so long to discard this faulty thinking, since it has caused so much trouble, so I would encourage you to discard it too, and instead treat humans as individuals, for the purely practical reason that you will avoid making erroneous assumptions about people.

Greetings, I did not see the video or the persons comments so can not be sure of anything related to either.
My point here will be prejudice. You seem to say because “maybe” one atheist may have said or done something that all Atheist believe, say, do or think the same way. This is silly and fully illogical and of course blind and an ignorant prejudice.

@justbekindtooall I don't know what you watch or see, but the fact that myself and many others it doesn't matter what they believe have realize the level of denial that comes from atheists. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. For all I know you are pulling my leg, but my experience with atheists lead me to believe this way. Now the Christians you refer are Mystery Babylon Counterfeit Christians, catholic priests. Someway they added priests can't marry causing it.

@justbekindtooall I know there aren't 1 billion atheist in the world that is insane. If the percentage of atheists in america is somewhere close to 8 percent, the percent of atheist in the world is around or less than that percentage. Now clearly the rest of the world isn't christian, but they aren't godless, they have similar stories with one or different Gods.

1- you do know the US is not the whole world, right?
2- I as a Buddhist am Atheist, followers of Jain, Confucianism , Taoism some sects of Hinduism , Jews are Atheist when you add these in you see several Billion people are Atheist some materialist some non materialist.

At least you admit atheism is a religion most of you say that is not the case, when two major courts rule you are.
