Well now macbook included a Nivdia Geforce 9400m, it's still a integrated graphic card but it's 5x better than the previous Intel GMA X3100 ( that I have on my macbook white :P ) So it's pretty nice for gaming too :) not the best but you know I prefer using a Ps3 or xbox 360 for gaming and having my awesome macbook than buy an alienware and getting windows vista gay.

I've already had two get a new charger because the other one caused a SMALL FIRE in my room because the charger got overheated (no it wasn't covered) and sparked. Now? The batterys totally dead. Beacause the graphics card wasn't powerful enough... I needed a Dedicated graphics card for Final Cut Pro... And I sorta wanted a larger screen, and the backlight keyboard is cool....

The graphics card is the main reason... The intel shared graphics sorta sucked in my opinion... It is better on the new MacBooks though!

The MacBook Pros have a bigger screen. They also are a faster computer, so if you will be going heavy processes the MacBook Pro would be better. The MacBook Pros also have a Video Card, rather than integrated graphics, which makes it better for playing games and video editing. I just finished ordering my new Macbook pro 2 minutes ago! I am so excited!

It depends on your apple store... I have 3 apple stores in my area, and only 1 of the 3 give the student discount to high school students. I ordered online.

When you go to the apple store online there is an option for student store towards the bottom of the page on the left click that. And just select a collage. Thats all you will have to do to get student discount because thats all they ask for. even if you dont attend that collage it will still work! Thats what I did!

no offense to any apple owners but i think they are horible and slow there os is horrible and they dont make alot of programs for them with out the converter i had one mac book pro hated it sold it to my friend... not saying there bad just not eficent and slow on loading mutiple programs and THEY DO GET VIRUSES apple lies when they say they dont any comp can get a virus you cant stop hackers... to expensive and you can get 1 very nice laptop with 4 core, for the price you pay for mac book pros..
