It's Dan Osman. Incredible climber. Sadly, he died jumping from Leaning Tower rock in Yosemite when his rope system failed. He was essentially base jumping but using a rope system to catch him instead of a parachute.

this is not what got him killed. him and his friends loved climbing with gear and then jumping off arches and cliffs attached to the rope. these ropes have a little give so it was like bungee jumping. a rope snapped and thats how he died.
