Great tips! But you don't have to trim your hair so often, especially if you rarely appply heat. You're just going to end up trimming healthy hair away. Look for split ends and just bad ends before you decide to pull out the scissors. I trim when needed which is usually about 8 months down the line. Now that I'm transitioning.. more often.. But I can't wait til I'm where you are. I love your natural hair!
Thanks for the tips. I just made a year this week. Tonight I did my first trim. I twisted it and snipped the ends. I considered having in straighten and then trimming it but changed my mind. I am so scared the heat will damage it. How do you trim your ends?
Your welcome. If you have any cool tips please share them with me as well. I really want to learn all i can that will help me and others. I trimmed my ends exactly the same way as you did. Thanks so much for stopping by and please do come again!
a cellophane wide tooth comb has been a life saver for split ends. Oiling my hair before washing. A ph balanced sulfur esther cleaning shampoo by mastey and keeping my hair covered while in the house due to the heat in my home. ( It is very cold where I live)
