yo question i did bridge the connections and my laptop says an error occured during the bridging am i doing something wrong or something im running windows 7 and i have tethered my android phone with easy tether i bought the app and it says clearly on the description that i can do but it says i have to share the connection and when i do that it doesn't work either?

I DID THIS WITH MY OLD PS2 THROUGH MY PHONE, I TETHERED MY NOTEBOOK AND BRIDGED THE CONNECTION OUT THE ETHERNET TO THE PS2 AND I WILL TRY IT WITH THE 360 NEXT...

@YOOivansterr You should be able to connect one and figure out that hey that is what it belongs to. if you connect your phone and connection 5 says it is connected then there you go. BTW your computer usually numbers them in the order they come in so more then likely 2 is the Ethernet.

@jasongerhmms yes you can, just by buying a wii lan for $20 at best buy and Broadcast Mywi on your iphone, connect with your computer and put your Ethernet into your Wii Lan Adapter that plugs into the back of the wii and connect to your comp. I used a mac so if you do to go to "System Prefrences - Sharing - Internet Sharing - Airport - to share with Ethernet!

@jasongerhmms To do the wii, you have to to wireless tether the wii or buy the ethernet adapter and bridge it the same way. the next time i do this. It will be with a android phone. I got rid of my iphone.

You won't get charged (I think) because when you get an iphone you get the unlimited data plan.

AT&T says that you have unlimited wireless use. But if you start to go over 5gb a month. I have heard of people being charged, but i have not been charged yet. I download close to 6gb month and I have not been charged yet.

i have my iphone jailbroken with tethering enabled. my bill is still same and i dont have the unlimited plan.

just jailbreak your phone and then add the tethering feature from cydia.

its like having a cellphone/air card.

yes but remember. You need to use a crossover cable. It will transfer information back and forth. And yes you need internet tethering. I still have it and I have mms. But I am not paying for it. WARNING!!! AT&T MAY CHARGE YOU. BE CAREFUL. I Will NOT BE RESPONIBLE!!!! oR HOW EVER YOU SPELL IT!!

depending on your 3g connection you might. It is pretty good near my house so I get a good connection.
