It's a great video presentation. I would like to know if the earth is tilted 23.5 degrees from it's north/south imaginary line, is it towards the right or towards the left? Your diagram shows that it is tilted towards the left, and other diagrams show that the earth is tilted towards the right. which is the actual tilt of our earth? Thank you
@guyKLumpur There is no 'right' and 'left'; it depends which direction you look at it from, and which time of year it is. When it's tilting towards, it's summer in the Northern hemisphere; when it's tilting away, it's summer in the Southern hemisphere. Hope this helps.
Best explanation for the equinox I've seen on YouTube so far, beginning at 0:40 - "Earth's spin axis is not pointed either toward or away from the sun."
I wish someone would create a side view or perspective view up close of the earth as it travels around the sun so we can see what it looks like in between seasons. No videos ever show this.
North pole suppose to b hot all year long ? of course not, north pole is far away, in the very north, in the summer season in north hemisphere the north pole has a 24 hours of day, but that doesn't mean hot, it has less solar radiation on it, it still cold though, perfect life for polar bears now
Hello Amezz, I'm not completely sure what are you talking about, the video didn't discuss the "day and night lengths" it discussed the seasons only :)
@menetoo theres allot of errors in this vid, thats what im trying to say, if you pay close attention to the video, u will see that the seasons's lecture is not accuretly with the things she says
In the bible they think the world is flat, Jesus people still do

it explains well, but it's too dark. It would be better if one was able to see the continents clearly

lol looks like the north pole is suppose to b hot all year long ???!!!

@Amezz55
How is that if the pole is pointing further away from the Sun,
Further away = Less Solar Radiation = Less Sun Light + Heat.
FirebrandNIRE 2 years ago
@Amezz55 yeah it has long days but because of its angle towards the sun it does not receive much heat, compared to the equator for example.

The video v=taHTA7S_JGk has a better video that compares both the northern and southern hemispherers.
