Amonium nitrate in of itself is not illegal to posses...it's just fertilizer. As far as I know it is regulated, and can only be sold to farmers for agricultural use. The only question is why this nut-job is allowed to get that much of a product used to make a very powerful explosive. You'd think homeland security would be on that.

This documentary was first aired in 2000, pre-9/11. It's also interesting to note that this documentary focused on a group in D.C. known as the White Lotus Society -- a group that condones violence toward abortion providers. I don't think in this day and age that they would allow themselves to be the subject of an HBO documentary post 9/11.

This documentary also profiled Neal Horsley, a man by his own admission had sex with a mule before finding religion.
