dunno about this clint mansell dude, but the vocal samples in first snow are from Host of Seraphim, the finest moment from medieval/goth outfit Dead Can Dance. I've tried building a tune around it but can only dream of producing something as well crafted as Chris Su's tunes! Sublime.

he made the song lux aeterna which was the theme for requiem for a dream. The violin song. I believe this song is off the fountain by him, and just remixed by chris.
