I think that NASCAR should adopt a season/points - based system, like that of F1. I also believe that NASCAR should be focused primarily on Road-racing circuits, and have the final few races of the championship be run on a superspeedway. For this, I think that the participating manufacturers should build their cars to intense, gt500 - type racing specs: Lots of downforce, well balanced, etc. And THEN for the superspeedway circuits, the teams replace the wings, splitters, diffusers, undertrays...
I wish the NASCAR governing body would rethink the restrictions and regulations of the cars. It just ISN"T INTERESTING when all the cars are absolutely identical. One may argue "well, what about F1? Its regs make the cars nearly identical." Yes, but that is because F1 is fast-paced and intense. DON"T HATE, I'M NOT FINISHED

I have never been to a NASCAR event, probably never will. I don't really find them very interesting. But the raw power that one must feel from all those V8s. I recently went to Taupo Raceway in the North Island of New Zealand and just a single 800+Hp 1970's Mustang V8 flying past at around 80mph is enough to push someone to the ground when youre just a few feet away, and the sound is mind blowing!

F1 cars are all tuned with fucking assits, they practically drive themselves. Go study on how much work it takes to get a NASCAR to work, and how much skill you need to drive one of them, and then come back. Umm, for one both Indy Cars and F1 Cars pretty much have a built in computer on the steering wheel, which tells them tire PSI, engine temp, etc. NASCAR drivers rely on teamwork by talking to their spotter. Plus the shifting on the Indy and F1(pussy) cars are on the steering wheel. NASCAR has legit shifting with an actual clutch.
Plus i'd rather hear the roar of the NASCARS rather than the pussy hums of the Indies and F1s.

Listen here know-it-all...they hit 206 today in the draft. When it's 190 mph...what does it matter if it's not 200...it's 190!! I happen to live near dega and have been every year. I KNOW how fast it is...I KNOW it's for safety purposes...go read an encyclopedia or somethin nerd

thats why i like nascar is the high speed traffic jam, but nascar does not hold a candle to the sensation you feel when the first 8 rows of a nascar race come flying by in the form of 2 nitro burning hemis. nascar will never be able to replicate that.
