@Visoball5550 I wouldn't say that was pointless at all as it means your opponent doesn't have the ball and when your opponent doesn't have the ball, they can't hurt you. What I'd say is pointless is teams who just kick the ball up field, as all they are doing is giving away possession.

@nasir2010khan But alot of Messi's goals come from Iniesta or Xavi's assist Xavi ended the last season with 20 assists. Him and Iniesta are the key playmakers, when they get the ball it oftens lead to Messi scoring a goal. I know Messi has scored amazing goals and saved his team from losing sometimes, but he cant take on all of the defenders all the time.

@nasir2010khan Xavi had the more assists in La Liga, which is 20, that is without counting Champions Leage. Definetly not more than Iniesta than Xavi combined. Xavi and Iniesta are equally important to the club, just like everyone else. Messi should not be praised more than anyone else. He is a great player and a influental person, but so is Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Carlos Puyol, Sergio Busquets, Eric Abidal, etc. They are all part of the club and work together as a team. I rest my case.
