CONT - and they counlnt get the kit. I said let me talk to your manager its that guy in the video he looks like he takes it up the ass cause he was scared to come talk to me. I said i just want to work out a deal with you.. this radio on ebay goes for $375 they were trying to sell it to me for $600 i told him to see if i can get everything done except for the kit and i hes running around running around making me wait more come to find out they dont even have the radio in stock.

Dont go to this shop. I called the guy said he had everything, told him i would be there in an hour and 20 mins they had plenty of time if they didnt have a part to get it. I get there and they said they dont have the kit .. i told the guy ok if you dont have it why diid you make me drive all the way down here for nothing, he said well get it. i told him dont take my car apart if you cannot get it. I want you go get it first. waited 2 hours next time i know the car is taken apart.

This is actually my truck in the video and, while Breakers did really great work, I am really disappointed in the JVC unit. Primarily due to the crappy phone. Breakers tried new mics and setups and did what they could. But to a person everyone complains about the quality. Other issues are; Screen needs to dim more-WAY to bright at night. Bunch of firmware fixes needed. Bugs in the backup camera/ipod controls/Sat radio recognition etc. Come on JVC...Step it up!

Hey Guys I bought this unit, and have had some issues, I am wondering if I have a defective one. JVC has advertised that this unit can be used to work with Motion X Drive . A GPS navigation add for the Iphone. they claim that a connected I phone 4 with the App can pull the navigation screen off the Iphone and put it on the monitor. And I have found that this almost works.

Here are my issues The unit does not want to let me use the AV in and the USB at the same time. Have you tried this?

I just bought this unit.. i love it.. but the only thing I do not like is that I cannot listen to a CD up front, and play a video or music off a usb stick in the back.

That combination does not work... sadly

I wonder if I can do this on Pioneer models?

How is the bluetooth mic on this unit? the previous model JVC KW-AVX830 had some issues.

Also.. can you play Divx files off of the USB drive?

I am surprised they did not upgrade the old looking menu system.

The mic on the new one is MUCH BETTER! You are correct the AVX830 had a needed firmware update to fix the bluetooth mic issue. We have installed a coup,e different units and have had NO problems on different phone!

As for the DIVX on the the USB I do not believe that you can, it needs to be on a CD for it to access it in that mode. I will try it on the next one and try to update my comment

yeh you'd be able to play divx I had a single din one for the last few years and everything got stolen out of the car a week ago.

Do these support MKV is my question?

@davoidd yeah mate, X264's, MP4's & MKV file support is a must, in this day & age.

If they could just add in FLV's too ;D
