@dmow9280 I've seen a couple in the 300k miles with stock engine , the 5 speed can hold upto 250 whp , the 6 speed more so . the stock clutch can go to 175 . if you treat the engine well they are famed for being almost bullet proof.
@dohmonx im proud of your choice im not the biggest fan of mustangs but i would always choose a miata over a stang they feel heavy in the steering and they are pretty damn heavy for the size of it a stckk miata weighs 2300 pounds for the first gens and stangs isnt it over 3800

Wiseco 9:1 pistons, Carillo H-beam rods, 1mm overbore, 750cc RC injectors, FM dual feed fuel rail, 5 angle valve job, Supertech 1mm oversized intake and exhaust valves, supertech springs and ti retainers, knife edged and lightened crank, blah, blah blah and a FM stage 2 suspension, Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks, FM springs and FM sway bars.
God I know it's been forever. I've since built my motor and turned up the boost. I need to shoot some new stuff. Stef from BEGi will be here on Saturday to do some more tuning (she's running a little rich) then maybe we'll be able to get out the camera.
This video was shot the day after I picked it up from getting the turbo on and there was NO muffler, just a 3" pipe without cats or a muffler from the turbo back. It's got a Magnaflow muffler now and it sounds awesome.
At the time this vid was shot I wasn't running a CAT or Muffler. When I put a muffler on I lost 4.6rwhp so the short answer would be that YES the screaming made it Faster. :)
I was riding with him on that autocross run, he pretty much butchered it. It was by far his worst run, but I would say that run was pretty fun, he came really close to spinning. I was also riding that time up to 125. The acceleration is tremendous!

@davidyoung2117 : Yup...I believe he has bumped up to a larger rear sway bar for more of a neutral feel and knock out some of that understeer.

It's an S4 with a GT2860RS turbo set @ 13psi in this video. I've since built the motor and in the next two weeks we're setting boost to 18psi.
