Tracey Ullman is amazing, nell vandort so funny, her voice transforms into candice valentine from girls on top apart from she does it a bit lower soooooo funny, tracey is soo talented x
Actually, that is quite possible. I've seen in some film that the lower parts of these aristocrat dresses have what looks like a big metal cage. It may look like her butt, but it could be one of these cage-things...
I hope Tim Burton does some more Stop-Motion movies. His style is not only unique and groundbreaking. But he has the skill to create something dark and gothic and yet somehow make it enduring to children!
@oogie6789 My apologies. I should've guess by the name. FrankenWeenie made me cry, quite honestly. My step-sister is obessed with Tim Burton, I'm learning.
@Pennywisea Because "poor" to an aristocrat is having an income of less that 2000 pounds every month. They can afford the house, but they can't support the lifestyle.
It's set in the Victorian times. When you came from a wealthy family in the 1800s, you usually fell victim to an "arranged marriage". Well-off Victorians rarely married for love.
@8888kimmy8888 They're poor but they have standards that they'd rather die than compromise. And maybe they're not even paying the servants' wages at the moment. (I read about reduced nobility in Prus's "The Doll", the situation is very similar.)
@Pocketwatch625 maybe, but I also wonder why the carriage ride took so long? They were going literally right across the street, they shouldn't have been in that coach for more than 2 seconds.
Tim Burton and Danny Elfman should write all our musicals from now on. There's something about these songs that makes them fit into the scene so well, unlike High School Musical, where they just start singing and dancing for no apparent reason. Plus, they're dark enough so that they aren't a pathetic excuse to stop the action.
You know what I hated about in this movie, is that both Victor's and Victoria's parents didn't care about their child's happiness, they just wanted money and power. LOL they didn't deserve to be parents, but that's how it was for some back then.
the setting of movie was in the old society where the parents was the one who arrange to their children when it comes on marriage because that time the only important thing was power and richess in the society.
if you poor or nothing most of higher to you was treating you like a trash....(based on what i've leard in our world history)
lucky them if the one who's gonna married are love their each other ^^.
