Me and my buddy Jack Guinnou who's grandfather started Targa where in the Safety red Dodge Avenger! I took a ride in the GT3RS and it's bloody fast! Love Targa but where i live now i see car 4 times as much as these cars! Great video man! :)

I have a question. So, lets say you live along the route. And if...if....if (when) someone slides sideways up onto your lawn and flattens your flamingos, do they have to buy you new lawn ornaments? LOL!!!

Man I want to try it so bad, but you really need a silver spoon or good sponsors. $5k entry fee and only plates for prizes. The fuel, the tires, the carnage. Definitely need sponsors if you don't have a fortune to burn.

Do they run the fastest cars last?

yea they start out with the touring class which was the first 2:40 of the film or so. you can see the smart car being followed by a race official car. they seperate the groups with an official car. the next class was the faster group which was the rest of the film.

Actually, the car following the Smart car is a competitor. It's a rental, and the same type as most of the officials are using. (Note the numbers on the door) The driver totalled his Audi on Monday, and switched to the Touring class with the rental car!

I believe you're right, an official "clears" the stage before the Targa cars go through. The official's car probably just isn't shown in the video.
