I closed my checking account with Wachovia 6-8 months ago, never hearing from them again... UNTIL.... Today, living on the other side of the world, I find out that my CURRENT bank's checking account has a lien against it from Wachovia bank.

-I never was notified by Wachovia in any way until this incident, and I can't get my tax return check deposited to pay for my plane ticket back to the U.S.

CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNTS with Wachovia, please, for those of us who have been abused by this organization.

Wachovia is a fraudulent institution.

They stole money from my account.

My tax return has been direct deposited and they lost it. Yeah!!! lost it.

I am two days in the run trying to comply with IRS and state revenue to get my money and they say:

The bank has it.

Now the wachovia bank has closed my account becouse they don't know what they have to do!?

Instead of making CD's with my money,they bought worthless Fannie Mae (lost $30,000);Wachovia Bonds (loosing money);Morgan Stanley (loosing money); all while telling me i was insured and no risk.
