I flag this as abusive. Besides, you know you'd probably cry if for some strange reason it went off the edge (commited suicide?) and died. Thats alot of money down the drain..I got my folks one and my moms scared to let it get near the staircase, even though it senses depth or whatever.

If used on the floor it won't take all of the dirt at just one pass - it needs a few "iterations" to make it totally clean.

What a traditional vacuum does with power and you knowing where the dirt is, the Roomba does (better, might I add) with repetition and the ability to run every day. The Roomba goes over each spot an average of four times, which is really an advantage. I'm ranting a bit now, so I'll finish up. :p
