And the new gts are easily just as fast as the 03 cobra, i know they are supposedly easy to get and extra 30-50 hp by changing the underpulleys or somethin but new GTs are dope son. recognize.

well the gt's only come with a 281 4.6, I dont think they can out run a cop car unless supercharged or heavy bolt on mods done to it. I have a 02 gt and its slow. hence the vortech SC im saving for.

yeah that mustang could smoke those cop cars, they were old caprice's, only a chevy small block, no match for a mustang v8

Chevy makes small blocks bigger than any mustang has... Except for maybe the brand new ones, but it's still about the same size.

well the gt's only come with a 281 4.6, I dont think they can out run a cop car unless supercharged or heavy bolt on mods done to it. I have a 02 gt and its slow. hence the vortech SC im saving for.

I just beat a new mustang gt out on the highway with my 350 small block chev. Might have taken me off the line though, cause I'm all top end. Its all good, mustangs are fuckin american muscle so they rock :)

It's funny, 'cause this is a diss on Ford, yet the police car is a Crown Victoria P71, which was another Ford product. Furthermore, unless the Mustang is modified, they both have the same 4.6L V8.

No not same engine the crown vic has the SOHC 4.6 same as the GTs the cobra has the DOHC 4.6 plus its supercharged, that cop wont keep up for a sec.

the supercharger isnt pushing that much stock at all. the Crown will be able to thang. spiecally if the driver of the mustang sucks.
