The apostles and disciples of Jesus never left the temple. Paul and 4 others made sacrifices in the temple. People were selling their homes in order to get closer to the temple. Some have the view that the third temple is a bad thing but it is a good prophecy. We see in Zech 14 that all the nations will come to keep tabernacles and go to the temple.
