A culture that abuses women in the name of dowry. If ever there was a society where women are down trodden and used mainly as a sexual object, it is clearly the Hindu religion/culture. Just because Pon Sudha has exhausted all those other topics, he thinks he can start portraying Islam negatively. BTW, just because the music has been changed to a more upbeat tune in the updated version, does not and will not change the essence of this ridiculous movie. May Allah give you hidayah.

Why does this bother anyone else? And this movie is mad by someone from a religion/culture where they think it is acceptable to make an exhibition of women by making them dance on stage in front of thousands of people, while the men admire the woman's each and every part of her body. A culture that celebrates an intimate act that should be shared between only husband and wife by boldly exhibiting it in the form of sculptures on their temples.
I love the way some people have commented on the undeniable fact that the actress shows her feelings in her eyes..........how many women in real life walks around with those feelings in her life while wearing the burkha? What u have weared first that is sudidar is a real pardha. u people have mis undestood about pardha. pardha means u have to cover ur body except hand ,feet, and ur face. color of cloth may any color. The concept is female naturally atracted to male by the difference of physical parts of female. thas why to safe guard by yourself from male u need to cover your beauty.
