It does not matter how an animal is killed for fur - humanely or otherwise!!!!!! IT IS WRONG - FUR SHOULD NOT BE WORN FOR FASHION! There are many faux fur items available and they are very realistic! FUR SHOULD BE WORN BY THE ANIMAL THAT GREW IT, NOT NASTY POMPOUS ARROGANT CELEBRITIES! I do not care what Tim Gunn has or has not done, this is a good revealing look at a horrific industry and I thank him for that!
THERE ARE DIFFERENT FUR FARMS THEN THIS!! When people think about fur, they atomaticly think about skinning alive. That is one of the most poplaur, but not only ways. I have seen fur farms that kill the humanly.
Good job I'm surprised that big companies aren't more informed about where there materials are coming from or they just don't care thank god some people do, thanks Tim
Not interested in someone as grim and dour looking as Tim Gunn. He can design the inside of my toilet bowl before he can tell me what to wear. And the hypocrite promotes eating meat.
Wow I hate this especially cuz I love animals so much I went from loving animals with steve Irwin to watching this words can't describe how frustrated and furious I'm feeling
I was a veg for 15 yrs, but i've never been able to get behind PETA's educational work.
This is shocking, and it's real life, but I just want to get informed without seeing an animal suffer. I can't even watch this video in its entirety. I stopped when I heard the rabbits screaming.
Not all their educational campaigns have to be so brazen - some people are smart enough to get it without seeing torture - and for those who aren't, well, they're not likely to watch this anyway.
the poor wolverine was still alive!!!!! i dont really care when the animals are killed humanely like the rabbits, but the poor wolverine. (for those of you who want to argue, i have a great knowledge of animals, and the rabbits were killed instantly. i am also a hunter.)
Do the research before posting. Cows are sent over the border to Pakistan where they are slaughtered. The farmers who sell them often have npo idea what will happen to the animals.
no nation on Earth has universal devotion to 1 religion. Especially in India, the "Hindu" religions are vast and differ greatly in their basic philosophies. Not all revere cattle, and leather is a top Indian export.
Sharing this one on Facebook. My friends are always posting these "happy animal" stories - animals saving their owners, surviving terrible natural disasters, making friends "outside their species".... Yet they can't connect the warm feeling they have for animals can't coexist with meat eating and fashion use like the kind Tim's discussing. I agree PeTA's actions can be troubling at time, but we must applaud them for trying - "progress not perfection."
While Tim Gunn is to be applauded for this...it is quit hippocritical to see him promoting an animal tested product such as Tide laundry detergent! Perhaps he is unaware??? PeTA is very annoying sometimes, they gush over these people for doing something 1/2 right. For example Ralph Lauren no longer uses fur but his fragrances are tested on animals, PeTA says bravo. Duh.
we all remember the infamous seakitten pr-stunt. PeTA has become to big for it's own good. If you watch the penn and teller's bullshit on PeTA you realize that they're not doing such a great job they claim to.

by the way, a so called "animal rights" activist who attacks women here, Joshua Katcher, was paid to promote a company that seels fur. Hypocrites!

Yea, my point exactly. Hindus consider the cow sacred.

@wtfisonyouface They export the cows, they don't kill them in India, they are not allowed. That's why the cows won't get up since they are tired.
