It does not matter how an animal is killed for fur - humanely or otherwise!!!!!! IT IS WRONG - FUR SHOULD NOT BE WORN FOR FASHION! There are many faux fur items available and they are very realistic! FUR SHOULD BE WORN BY THE ANIMAL THAT GREW IT, NOT NASTY POMPOUS ARROGANT CELEBRITIES! I do not care what Tim Gunn has or has not done, this is a good revealing look at a horrific industry and I thank him for that!

I was a veg for 15 yrs, but i've never been able to get behind PETA's educational work.

This is shocking, and it's real life, but I just want to get informed without seeing an animal suffer. I can't even watch this video in its entirety. I stopped when I heard the rabbits screaming.

Not all their educational campaigns have to be so brazen - some people are smart enough to get it without seeing torture - and for those who aren't, well, they're not likely to watch this anyway.

Do the research before posting. Cows are sent over the border to Pakistan where they are slaughtered. The farmers who sell them often have npo idea what will happen to the animals.

Sharing this one on Facebook. My friends are always posting these "happy animal" stories - animals saving their owners, surviving terrible natural disasters, making friends "outside their species".... Yet they can't connect the warm feeling they have for animals can't coexist with meat eating and fashion use like the kind Tim's discussing. I agree PeTA's actions can be troubling at time, but we must applaud them for trying - "progress not perfection."

While Tim Gunn is to be applauded for this...it is quit hippocritical to see him promoting an animal tested product such as Tide laundry detergent! Perhaps he is unaware??? PeTA is very annoying sometimes, they gush over these people for doing something 1/2 right. For example Ralph Lauren no longer uses fur but his fragrances are tested on animals, PeTA says bravo. Duh.
