I used to have this on tape. I never thought it was that funny but this opening was tight. His later shows were much funnier. "Afros & Bell-bottoms" especially and many of his old school cruise shows I have on tape are hilarious.

OMG! I used to watch this over and over again back in the 90s. Sinbad was funny as hell!! I remember thinking the dance intro was awesome, but looking back at it now, it looked like they all began losing momentum as the song progressed. LOL! And Sinbad worked the exhaustion in there quite nicely for the sake of the act itself.

@rockinInIndy I went to see him in LA in May... one of the audience members asked him the same thing. He said HBO owns the rights to Brain Damaged and to this day they have not put it on home video or DVD. He didn't know if they will, either. Really, over 20 years later and HBO hasn't put this out?? Such a shame... :-/

I had a VHS copy I recorded off HBO when it first aired that two friends of mine borrowed and ended up wanting as their wedding gift about 6 years ago, which I reluctantly gave them knowing it's not available on DVD. Hope one day it will be. I can't even find a torrent on this. Anyway, this is my favorite stand-up act ever! Thanks again!

I LOVE THE S-BAD!!! lol I've ALWAYS been a die-hard Sinbad fan ever since I was a kid (late 80's). Among the many reasons for my love of him is the fact that he didn't plunge head first into that "dirty jokes only" comedian phase like Andrew Dice Douche Clay and others at that time. He didn't have to cuz' he was JUST THAT DAMNED GOOD!! hehe Can I PLEASE get a little back-up on this so that I can at least know I'm not totally insane or a social leper or something else socially toxic/nuts? lol
