  • What is the flight time? How long do the catalyst last?

  • @HiFiman4u

the old catalyst last 50 hours but the new company that owns the project will last much longer using new nano catalyst mech.

    flight time is 2.5 hours

  • @BrunoBagina Thanks for the info. I was wondering what operating costs were per hour of flight time as well.

I think it would be an interesting experiment to use this technology to run an emergency electric generator. What do you think?

  • @BrunoBagina, I wonder what new company your talking about... As much as I know, all the rights still belong to my father. Intora lost all the rights to him after court case I think in approx. 2007. As I know, he never sold any of the rights afterwards.

  • Where did you get your distiller? Did you make your own? I ask because I am personally interested in building a peroxide rocket, but from what I've seen it's an all around great fuel. Maybe I could convert my RC Truck to run off it! By the way, what kind of flight time do you see out of this thing?

  • @jag9998 Ye i Made my own distiller back when i was in college using basic chemistry lab equipment the normal distilling equipment and a vaccum pump that all

  • @jag9998 I use a normal lab distiller conected to a vacumm pump,it takes lost of time but its simpler

  • very nice if the gallon of hidrogen peroxide dont cost 7 thousand dollars

  • @hoomersinpsom you can buy industrial or food grade hydrogen peroxide 35 very cheap on bulk and then you just use a low pressure destiler for to purify

  • YES!!! This is what I need when the ol' lady gets to fussin.. Imagine going to the corner store on this baby!

  • please can someone tell me, if this is using a cyclic/collective control or not?

  • 0:49 "The flying controls can all be gathered onto a single Balance Arm, or divided between the Balance Arm and the Collective Pitch Lever".

1:23 shows the "Balance Arm" being cycled as the rotor & hub react cyclically. Note the right-angle offset of the rotor pitch versus control motion to allow precession to work in the pilot's favour.

  • if that was made out of aluminum and titanium you could carry it lol. well, i could anyways

  • Why tail rotor is still needed ?

  • @JetBeetlePropulsion you are right that there is no torque to counter balance but the tail rotor gives a greater control

  • This thing has been under development since the late 80's early 90's. Hydrogen peroxide used is 87% pure, pretty caustic compared to normal household (3%) stuff. Tip rocket catalyst is platinum, exhaust is mostly H2O steam, so non polluting :) Range back when I saw it tested was limited to about 15 - 30 minutes.

  • Nice piece of military weapon

  • It's not for sale yet! gotta wait!

  • how much is it?

  • awesome

  • Nice Video, thanks for sharing it.
