This is not true, most Hungarians detest these people, but what can we do? Look what happened to gay people! Nobody wants to risk his/her own or her families life against this scum. The police needs to do something!

i'll tell you what you can do. you can stand alongside them in support. in america we have an organization called PFLAG. parents and friends of gays and lesbians. high schools and universities have gay/straight alliances. the only truly dangerous thing to do is to remain silent.

Hungary is not America. I've been in the U.S. You guys have order in your country (well, more or less). If someone tried to attack a police offices with a Molotov cocktail he or she would face serious consequences in the U.S. In Hungary, these people can do whatever they want.
I feel for those people who had the courage to stand up for their beliefs (whether they were gay or not). But I'm personally feel threatened by the mob. Most people are afraid. Hungary is not America, it's the Balkan...

The British Embassy in Budapest took the very unusual step of publicly expressing its support for, and solidarity with, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities in Hungary ahead of the march. (They put the rainbow flag on the building of the embassy!)
