i purchased one of these motor controllers- there are 2x ways to control motor speed. One is to change the frequency of a 12v pulse and the other is to change the voltage itself. The later has less torque and no PWM. Jaycar sells this kit and a nitrous controller kit which is designed to pulse injectors- it has a PWM but it is only 10amps with the mosfet supplied.
i just purchased an xu1 drill from bunnings, makes a good PWM however i have to question the frequency. So far its only going up to 3.5khz. Very simple componentry suggests that it cant be modified further. I am putting a potentiameter on it tomorrow so we shall get some accurate readings then.
I'm done with the 1st stage of my LAWTON Circuit. It does, even with only the 1st stage, have some interesting characteristics when watching the pulse-train.. :=)
cool-need to point out this circuit is similar but not the same...it does not switch the high frequency in a pulse train. Now when r u going to contirbute to projekt HHO hoaxy =P
Careful how you measure input power if you have PWM!

I just bought a thing called F-16 Pulse King on ebay. My HHO production is amazing

you can also use the jacobs ladder display kit with a simple variable resistor modification, for frequency adjustabilty.

dont run the XU1 PWM no load-i blew one that way.crob227 is usiing deWalt triggers bit more robust but they are expensive

Seems like win. :)

Very cool. Nice upgrade for anyone trying these experiments. The secret is in this process and the coil set-up.
We are well on our way..

am planning on modifying this circuit,so i have adjustable freq as well as pulse width.
And yes HOAX i need a bifilar coil in the circuit

good info, where would you buy something like that. Did you have to add anything to it.
