But no, instead they had to create Ruby 2.0, get her with Sam and make her evil. Honestly, it was so predictable. I think this is the only time SPN writers let me down.
@loey12886 I don't know...I always believed that the Katie Cassidy version of Ruby was actually intended to be good (and in a way a second half to compliment Dean. They had such great - GREAT - chemistry together). But when the creators decided to write the character out of the show, the easiest way was to make the brunette (I know her name I just can't spell it lol) Ruby actually evil. I love this show, but I will never get over the anger towards that decision. Cassidy's Ruby was meant for Dean
@BlackHowling77 I did hear from Jared in an interview when he was talking about the show. He said that Ruby was even evil in Season 3, she just couldn't show it so she could get Sam to be on her side, and her name is spelled Genevieve

I think Dean and Ruby actually have a heck of a lot more chemisty than he and Bela ever had, or will. At least he can relate to Ruby; Bela's the antithesis of everything he stands for and his own personal code. I find their scenes together stilted and personally think he has a genuine dislike for her. I felt he kinda conntected with Ruby on a personal level and that she gave some inspiration to save himself and some serious things to think about when noone else could. Bela's beyond irritating.
I find it disturbing that Dean knows what ass tastes like o.o
