@hokipokist Burning man is often discussed in terms of some sort of spiritual, political or economic message. It has none. I would not have made the video is people only claimed it was about fun. Your argument is an ad hoc rationalization. Burning man comes from people feeling lost in current society - but instead of channeling this angst into something useful - it's turned into neo-pagan bullshit. You ad hominen attack doesn't address the core issues.

Also, im about as spiritual as box of hammers, but i travel from Australia to go to Burning Man every year. why? Its the one week a year we can escape from people like you.

@ianwoodsman No, you go there because of some psychological need. The post industrial material world doesn't fulfill people - so they look for meaning. Burning man was/is a bottom up phenomena. I doubt they where planning on making any money - it just happened. It's not a religion per se, but it serves the same function. At least for a week.
