It looks like you've got your notes down, but spanish poster is right, if you straighten your left wrist, it'll be a lot easier to play and switch positions when you need to. When you leave your wrist bent your fingers fall across the strings and that's what gives you that annoying sound when you try to switch to a note on another string, the note is stifled by the light, unintentional pressure. You've got nice form otherwise! I enjoyed this a lot!

@ XogwenenwilliamsoX I think that what gregia7 is trying to say is that he dosent have his wrist straight . You can play the violin 2 ways, one with your wrist straight, or two, with your wrist colapsing. It is much easier to play with a colapsing wrist, but harder to get the song in tune. He's doing a good job though

yea. i agree with gahowe02...also. i wuz taught to keep my left hand straight. so it helps to practice with a wrist brace. it helps with tha fingering and intonation.=]

you are sliding your bow forward... it messes up the sound... I was taught to play on the edge of the bow strings.. that will help and then just practice your tones... my Teacher used to put tape on where you needed to place your fingers... it helps try it

You were in tune incredibly well.

A few things though, I couldn't see your bow hand very well so I don't know how these people are telling you to fix your bow hand if they can't see it.

About your left hand though, it needs to be up and your fingers should be curved over the fingerboard so you can touch the strings with the tios of your fingers. That's why they tell string players to have short finger nails. Try raising your shoulder rest, that may help.

one thing you can do to fix your problem is use your chin to hold up the violin not your left hand

you should be able to hold up the violin with out your hands with just your shoulder and chin

and of course you could fix your bow hand

Drop your wrist. If you don;t have it resting on your violin it makes shifting much easier and it will improve your sound quality. Practice straight bows and correct your bowing posistion. You did great

your violin doesn't sound like that because it all depends on the strings that your using. if you want a sound like that then use strings that say BRIGHTS on the package and use plenty of rosin on your bow.
