How the guy can compare the sound of the instrument if he's listening only one? Would have to listen to others with the same microphone. Lack intelligence in the comments.
Hi. I didn't change a thing on this guitar. I do remember that when I bought it, they had both kind of fretboard markers: either single star+plain dots or figurative inlays as mine use to have.
@kingstumble If you check on Republic's site you'll see that they still offer the miniolian with both dot and the more decorative markers like in the video. It's an extra $60 for the more ornate markers.
I like the tune and the video effect making it look old! ;D
But, if you're gonna play Robert Johnson you should play facing the corner of the room :D thats what he did cus he didnt want anybody stealing his riffs or something. XD
I've just found this video again after 3 months it says :P by chance too. It really is some nice playing and the guitar looks beautiful. Where did you get it from?

Sounds lovely-don't listen to the basement dwellers who wouldn't know a bottleneck from a bottle cap-nice playin' too!

Sound absolute shit.
Compare this an old Kay or Regal.
No comparison.

100% totally legit vintage sound. I can taste the river mud in my teeth just listening to it.

Lovely sound indeed.
Have you changed the fretboard markers?
All the other Miniolians I have seen have a single star at the 3rd. fret and then plain dots.
Yours is much nicer!

Guitar sounds lovely and the playing is good too, nice to listen too. A lot better than a lot of Robert Johnson's covers

Thx buddy... I do regret this guitar a lot... As soon as I have some cash I'll try to afford a brand new one!
sarssipius 2 years ago
Why do you regret it? Is that bad... I was consider getting Republic's miniolian...

I meant I regret that I had to sell this guitar because I needed money ;-) The guitar is great, you can go for it without any hesitation.
