lol. I got the arcade, Sega Genesis & the Sega Master System version on my laptop. The arcade version is the best though:-)I luv the red suit. It was a good look on M.J. & nice review. I can tell you're a huge M.J. fan:-)

about the music in the game, a reason for it to sound so close to the original is that the Genesis/Mega Drive had a Yamaha FM synthesizer chip in it, which was rather similar to the popular Yamaha DX7 synthesizer that was often used in pop music in the late 80's. I'm not sure if that was the exact synthesizer model used in most of michael jackson's songs, but I'm pretty sure it was a Yamaha FM synthesizer, meaning that a good enough programmer could make the genesis sound very close to the DX7.

i havnt watched the whole vid yet so i dont know if you know this but you can turn in to the robot on any level, you can also jump really high if you swing from things and you can use the fire hydrant to squirt people.

mine version doesnt have the thriller music on it.

dude! that was AWSOME! I have that game, it Rocks. but i do have a few questions (if I may ask), umm,... 1st, How do you skip rounds. And second, How do you make the red Michael move, Cause mine doesn't work when i use the same keys for the white Michael.

I got this from gamefaqs: To Skip rounds: Hold Up/Left and A on controller 2. Press start at the title screen with the 1 player controller to start a one player game. The phrase round one will appear on the screen. Press left or right to change

Red michael is player 2 just use player 2 controls

U ever see Micheal Jackson's Moonwalker released on video back in 1988. It features various Micheal Jackson music video segments and a mini movie at the end. That mini movie is what this game is based off. The main bad guy is Mr. Big (a drug lord with sci fi like weapons) and in the film Micheal turns into a car, robot and then ship. The little girl is also in the film Micheal has 2 save her at the end from Mr. Big and she carries a teddy bear, I forget her name though.

I use 2 have it on VHS, haven't see the VHS in years though. I never played the Sega version of this, but I did play the Arcade version of this game several times. I got up 2 Mr. Big, then got killed and was out of quarters.
