Which Elgato Hybrid model are you using? The one I'm looking at right now is the EyeTV Hybrid (2010)...that sound like an updated version of yours?

u could try and adjust the sensitivity or watever in the menu but im pretty sure its supposed to not work too close otherwise when u make a slight move the cursor would go of the screen which would make it too difficult

There's nothing to do! Buy a MBP, an Elgato Hybrid and a Wii. Connect Wii to Elgato Hybrid and select on EyeTv (a bundle software that control your Elgato) the Video Input nor TV.

hey i have used this type of software before and was wondering wether or not there is a delay in button timing and stuff... because games like super mario galaxy or wario smooth moves are highly affected by timing of the buttons... just wondering if there was a delay at all

This is awesome, I don't have my own TV for myself and I plan to make a switch to the MacBook pro for college soon, and I don't have anything to game with so I'll eventually be getting a Wii lol. I'll have to look into this more :).

This was done with an EyeTV Hybrid, I believe. [Google it.] The hybrid requires a G4 or newer processor, so yes it would work on a MacBook.
