  • 1:00 <--shit happens

  • what version of parallels is it?

  • can you please tell me how to do this. i have 2 hdds with one mac os x and one wiondows xp. please tell me how thx

  • what are the specs of your mac? cuz mine is the same but reallllllly slow.

  • woah that is freakin awesome! does this mean i can finally use ms paint on my mac? (im a huge ms paint fan, paintbrush = evil!)

  • fuck man ur cpu is so quick

  • how do you do that I switch a different way but it takes a little longer

  • how you do that? actually im looking for the another way, not this way.. i already install windows into my mac but i don't know how to switch it..

  • All machines have their pros and cons, from linux, to mac, to PC. PC, has 80+% of the software market. Sorry guy who tried to say most programs are usable on a MAC, but this is why there is bootcamp. And why not use parallels? Virtualization of a OS atop an OS is in an essence creating virtualized hardware through software. It's slower! 3D programs and video gaming would be substantially slower.. This is why you would use BootCamp. Hence, windows are useful, that's why they make these programs.

  • You guys are so mixed up.. Macs are over priced, period. That's a given, similar specs on a window os based laptop is cheaper. However, a mac OS in general is more stable YES, but not perfect. The OS has very very few viruses. Macs CAN be hacked, easy, all OS's have signatures, but they're less likely to get hacked in a mass attack. Mac is made for business environments because they're harder to 'mess up' for those not computer savy. They aren't BETTER than PC's, just different and overpriced.

  • they aren't overpriced. and there is a video that disproves it.

  • I agree. I'm currently using Windows, but I'd much rather prefer OS X. It all just depends on opinion really. You can spend more or less, either way you're getting a good computer.

  • Hello pinoyjustin,

With Parallels (or with VMWare Fusion or any other virtualization product) you can create isolated virtual machines in your Mac, so if a virtual machine is infected the risk is isolated too, so Mac OS X is not affected.

  • macs are nice and watching videos like this makes me feel like i really need one. but the problem is, everybody in my family including me, are used to pc's, and weve bought so many programs that cant be installed on a mac.

  • macs are all show and arent geared toward your download everything do anything people. i love macs too but using one everyday would kill me and eventuallt i would go back to a pc. you can see a business man walk around with a macbook and saw its the greatest (wich it is) but for everything els he will use a pc or windows laptop

  • on macs can you install any normal programs, say... windows live?

    and also are macs good?

because im getting anxious about getting one, but i dont want issues with it iff it do.

    please reply.

  • hey dude macs rule the world. Ill give you reasons why!

    1. stable operating system (no crashes)

    2. Virtually no viruses

    3. Many if not all programs have a mac counterpart or are universal.

    4. All apple pc's are built to last for ages!

    - hope this helped!

  • "1. stable operating system (no crashes)"

    Kernel panic?

    Spinning beach ball of death?

  • i agree with ghostSonic.i love it when the compyter chrashes when i open the internet.and once i get on.i also love it when i download somthing i get 10 million viruses :D

mac run windows faster then anyone else.

  • good for you but what do you think will happen when those thingsyour downloading are all porn. ive downloaded my fair share of things from shady sites but i can get whatever is in, out withing hours and i can avoid all of that by just scannign the file to start with. but you cant handel thedownloads so indtead you would rather the option not so you cant possibly take a risk

  • Macs are good and their flashy programs will draw you in but think of the things you do on a pc and some keys you use on a pc (right click!!!) and think of how your world would be without them. if it isnt bad then go for a mac. i never saw one long term positive when i used a mac so im now on a pc that looks like a mac (leopard VisualStyles, object bar,new icons, aurora background.ext.ext)

  • i right click by using 2 fingers.

iv used both and i prefer mac.

they just do everything a pc does better.

  • they do do whatever a pc does better. but i feel they have too many menus to get where u want to go or what you want to do. when i was typing in word i was like "wheres the bold print!!" I guess if your used to one you can never fully appeal to the other but pc just does so many great things that i havnt found out a mac can do. I like open software more than closed wich is why i jailbroke my itouch too.

  • same for me, two finger click. works like magic

  • you can set mac to right click

  • to switch the screen u can use virtue desktops and have a smackbook, that is more fun 4 me

  • heyy how did you do that thing when screen spins to another program...preciate the help :D

  • gotta love that program =D

you guys do a tiny bit of research and youll find one, probably more, programs to use to be able to do this xD.

  • what button is he pressing to do the switch?

  • That is cool. Developers dream.

  • how the fuck did u do that!?

  • mac application called Parallels check it out on parallels dot com

  • oh right

  • woa!!> how the heck did u do that?? lol

  • Thats so awsome :D

  • Amazing. Fantastic! NOw, i can possibly download all educational CD-ROM PC readable formats!!!! Thx for this!

  • alexhinksman,

    leongh1, thanks :)

  • cool

  • Eso, que soft utilizas para el cambio de escritorios??

  • Was wondering how smooth did your games (if any) ran on that virtualization software. I'm saving up to buy the core 2 duo MacBook (if it ever comes out ;/).

  • ke soft utilisaste para el cambio de escritorios?

  • Great video!

  • siescha,

  • Hey, where did you get the software?

    Thanks

  • Hola!

Ante todo, disculpa por no haberte respondido antes... Efectivamente, tiene 2GB de RAM.

Perdona mi ignorancia, pero ... ¿qué es Fayerwayer? Supongo que un sitio web, pero no he encontrado el enlace...
