1. I adore John Gallagher Jr. absolutely adore him

2. Gerard Canonico who I saw as Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening is in it

I saw American Idiot last weekend and it was so fantastic. I am a huge Green Day fan, but as a huge Broadway fan also, I can say that this musical was phenomenal! The choreography, the lighting, the singing; everything is just amazing! I actually cried because it brought back so many memories of my childhood. I've grown up with Green Day and this musical just brought it all back. It is a MUST SEE. Not just for Green Day fans, but for EVERYONE.

thanks for putting it on youtube :P Wow, at the end of this video, he(BJ) says "I think, some of these versions of our songs is better than what we recorded" I'd like to see the American idiot musical but I don't think it would be better than Green Day. Most of the time, the original version is better and I think that's the case for all Green day songs :) And I don't like the fact that Billie joe's not singing his songs.... ;) He's so freaking talented !

@MusicloverAmc On the American Idiot Cast Album there's a never edited before song called When it's time, and it's sung by Billie Joe, definitely worth it :D

I do not like how they arranged some of the songs but some are really good, like Whatsername, She's a Rebel and 21 Guns.

I saw the musical....and I think that all of the songs were at least equal. Some of the songs especially I think were better. I suppose it depends on personal taste, but there was so much emotion in all the songs that I think it speaks even more than the original album. You get chills watching and listening to them.

@rockswave88 Thanks, you're welcome :) Actually I found it really weird that these videos where visible by european viewers like me, It was the first time that I could watch MTV US videos, but still in some countries they are blocked O_o
