Daylight is creeping.... See you in Chicago 5/17/11!
Last time in Chicago was cool too. Random shows... I wish more people would turn onto this, especially after the D. Letterman performance on 4/26/11. Totally underrated band.
If he can still hear anything. Hopefully medical science will be able to compensate for decades of rocking the fuck out. Personally, I consider him more of a National Treasure than a deity, but really, he's not that far off. As far as saying he not that great live, I'd have to disagree. I've seen him play in various incarnations a total of 15 times now it's it always nothing less than soul shattering and redeeming. Maybe you mean to say "not like the record", which is a good thing.
eggborne has a great name! And he's absolutely correct. Why has this comment been so down-thumbed? Oh wait....it's because the truth is often inconvenient and/or doesnt taste very good. Foolish sheeple, shame on you all.
Cool. really cool night. went to both shows and Greg and the boys were just something out of this world. same goes for Lanegan, which seemed rather indifferent to where he was...

Dulli IS God. He needs to be revered as such. But (like the Hebrew God) he's no good live.
And it's too damned bad! He'll be great when he's old, and it's just him alone at the piano.

I'm not gonna say that Greg Dulli is god, but if he asked me to build an arc, I would definitely do it.

He's a mysterious guy.
Ever see an interview with the Gutter Twins?
Mark is a man of few words. Greg comes out and basically speaks for both of them.
They both seem to prefer it.
