  • :) I'm hoping this helps me! First time pin curling my hair.. It's long, so I'm having fun keeping the hair together

  • Thank you so much and your really pretty :)

  • Wonderful video!

  • I love it!!! It looks sooo nice! I'm using it!

  • I love your video because I always pin curl my hair thanks for a new technique and for using your real hair

  • girl this is so cute, our hair is so similar & im avoiding heat at all costs lol, so i did this tonight in my hair.. well see tomorrow lol

  • That is very cute.

  • @gurlforgod100 then use the paper bag method

  • what if you want to curl only the ends of your hair?

  • what

  • Wow that looks so good! Your hair looks so healthy, great job!

  • How Big Do You Have To Part Thee Hair ??

  • bobby pins work fine too right?

  • @Neecie7 yea

  • Thanks alot!!! Now I can have curly hair with no heat!!! :)

  • Love this better than roller set! Much more comfortable! It's still a little tricky for me because I've only done it a couple of times but I bet it'll get easier! :) thanks for vid :)

  • It's groovy that you did this tutorial. My mom has been doing this for YEARS & I used to think that she was the only one who pin curled!

  • I'm trying pin curls, now that I've got a good silk wrap and some sturdy pins. Bobby pins suck because they'll crease your hair. Anyway, still takes me forever to put it up -- my hair is past shoulder-length -- but it's still a very fun look and it's way easier than a curling iron.

  • I wash mine twice a week since i don't like to put grease in my hair. is that okay?

  • This is a great tutorial! Your pin curls look great! This may work for me, you make it look easy.

  • Great tutorial!! Thank you! I hab been roller setting but the rollers hurt my head and give me a bad sleep. God bless. Sky035.

  • Omg very beautiful, I really liked this video, i've been wanting to try different hair styles for my hair, i'm currently trying to grow it out and right now it's at the awkward stage where it's hard to do different style, my hair has layers and it's growing very awkwardly from the previous hair style i used to have. this video helped a lot and i'm very syked to try it out :D

  • greasy?!?! oh my gosh... it looks glossy and moisturized and luxurious. I mean cripes, her hair was shiny and glossy from the get go. super cute!

  • so like i tried this hair do last night (i have long hair) and it didnt work :(

  • @mtacey12345 you should try curling with heat first and then pin up each section that u curl. I have long hair too and am trying to get away from heat but my hair is stubborn. Anyhoo good luck <3

  • gorgeous!

  • Very pretty and so healthy for the hair

  • I find it amazing how you came up with such a great style. I been natural for a year and I still have a hard time trying to find styles that fit my face and figure out what to do my hair. Most of the time I get lazy so I either twist out my hair or braid my hair so I don't have to manipulate it a lot.

  • I love dis! Gonna try this now! Thanks! :)

  • How cute! It's so easy and simple I am def going to go buy some of those pins because it's harder to get the bobby pins out, yay thanks!

  • WOW! Thank You for sharing this video! I am natural & pin-curling will be 100 times better for me then applying even more heat to my hair! I normally don't use heat anyways. But I plan on straightening my hair this weekend & I love curls so I will be using this method! Thank You so much for sharing!!! :)

  • Very pretty style. You make it look so simple. Thanks for sharing.

  • I think u did a good job. I loved ur lil video for pincurling

  • omg looks so sophisticated

  • this is a super cute look and im glad that it is no heat <3 thanks doll

  • beautiful

  • @mmma4u..yes it works on longer hair...my hair is pass my shoulders and my granny taught me how to pin curl...- love it...sorry lovely; very nice way of showing us how to pin curl...your hair came out gorgeous!!! I love it... ;-)

  • sooo cute! <3

  • Your hair really looks nice. I think I will buy some clips and pin curl mine this week-end. Thanks for sharing. :o) This is a great style that you don't have to use a lot of heat.

  • Do you ever have marks from the pins in your hair the next day? How can I combat this? Great skin lady!

  • Do you ever have marks from the pins in your hair the next day? How can I combat this? Great skin lady!

  • My Pin Curls Always Turn Out Looking A Hot Frizzy Mess =/

  • @2cut32handle Mine too :(

  • i wash my hair every 3 to 5 Days

  • Is your hair permed?

  • Why does the end product look greasy?

  • @blahblah4149 i think its the flash on the camera or the lights cause it sure aint greasy

  • thanku ive never done this before ill let you know how it turns out!

  • wow, it's really cute! i just cut my hair short i cant wait to try this!

  • those r really nice imma try that for the first time now

  • TIS WAS VERY INFORMATIONAL!!!!! ((((: Thank you!

  • Would this work on wet hair or is dry hair better? Would my hair have to be flat ironed before being pinned curled

  • You only wash your hair once a week? Is that normal?

  • @rosiexd yep very normal for me

  • @rosiexd clearly you must not be african-american or black...yes that's normal for our hair. washing more than that dries it out and causes breakage. do your research before u comment. please and thank you.

  • @rosiexd yes it is but if you desired you could do every three days but any more would wash out natural oils

  • Very Nice!! I'm getting ready to try this right now!

  • I love this! You my friend just inspired me to wear out my own hair more often! THANK YOU :)

  • Hey, how many pins do you use? I like the way you styled yours. Usually, I like a tighter curl and it comes out looking really 50s pin up. Do I just do bigger sections to achieve the look you have?

  • She Made Iht Sooo Flippin Easy ..! All Myy Frendz Comee To Skool Wid Dey Hair Purmed Nd Done Ihm 14 Nd Finna Look Nicee Too xD I Made Noo Sense Budd Hey ! I Can Do Myy Hair Now

  • I like this so much seen easy and thank you..

  • LOVE IT

  • This is the best demonstration of pin curling for me. I will do this tonight and let you know how it worked out. Thank you for the video.

  • Two questions: Would this work on natural/transitioning hair that's been flat ironed, and what moisturizer did you use here?

  • THAT LOOKS SO GOOD

  • i love ur face at 1:50 :L x

  • love this vid; ill use this tonight and let you know how it goes if i remember to do so! :)(:

  • i reading some of these comments and it feels like i'm the only one using this video to learn how pin down the curls in my mohawk, so i can tie up my hair and have a goood night sleep!

  • this video really helped a lot, thanks!

  • so helpful! i have to style my hair for a musical set in the thirties and my director recommended we try pin curls. thank you!!!

  • Thanks for this! This is my first time having curls and I had no idea how to wrap it! Really helpful video!

  • This is a very pretty, sexii, romantic style. I will most def be trying this one on my transitioning hair. Thanks for the look also your modest makeup was very pretty.

  • @brandi1525 awww thank you but im wearing no makeup in this video = )

  • @LovelyOverload you have amazing skin then

  • @LovelyOverload

I could tell lol it does look like you have gloss on your lips though. women your tone and darker like myself, I feel, look great without makeup =) as they say, black don't crack! Great video, I'm trying to learn how to do my own hair now so it's very helpful.

  • This really helped me thank you so much

  • i think it looks cute just curled up still in the swirly loop but whatever

    still a very helpful video

  • Question: can you pin curl in wet hair or does it not stay. I don't use heat on my hair anymore and I was wondering if this would work for me.

  • @1wellinglover never tried it on wet hair so i dunno

  • @1wellinglover I always do it with wet hair and the curls are actually more defined believe it or not...just make sure that the hair is pinned tightely...and i use bobby pins cuz it's easier to sleep in. Good luck!!!

  • @Sweeterigirl

Thanks a lot for the info. I haven't tried it yet so, really helpful ;)

  • @1wellinglover Hey I am going to school to be a master cosmetologist...We are currently practicing pin curls...You can do pin curls wet...Its actually better that way...You have to make sure that your hair is COMPLETELY dry before combing out because if not...THE CURLS WILL DROP!!!! Completely means COMPLETELY!!! LOL Dont think "oh its almost dry it will be okay" because Im telling you , it wont!!! Water breaks bonds in the hair... only heat reforms them...

  • @sexyvirgostud

Thank you for the info. I know it will help

  • @1wellinglover Ur welcome babe...anytime...

  • @1wellinglover yeah, you can. well, it depends on what kind of hair you have. for african-american hair, since it's coarser and we generally can't wet our hair and let it dry overnight, you can't. but if you have fine hair (european, asian, etc), you can. it may be helpful to wet it, towel dry, and put a little mousse in.

  • pause at 00:06

  • @MizzGucciify1 you must be really bored smh

  • @LovelyOverload PROBABLY..I DNT REMEMBER.

  • Hi what kind of moisturizer is that you're using on your hair? Thanks!

  • @shuey1029 it hydrathermal natural daily moisturizing growth lotion

  • I have the type of hair that won't hold a bump or curl for nothing in the world! Do you think this will work if I did a wet set with bouffant rollers first?

  • These seems like such an easier way .. I saw one that had a finger technique, but I prefer this one. Thanks, lady! :)

  • @marijayy you're welcome.. I think the finger method is better for longer hair

  • @LovelyOverload

thanks. you're an excellent teacher. my hair is not relaxed, but I do flatiron/ curl it and this helps maintain the style.
