  • JAJAJAJA why always white European take the story of black people and change it to HIS-STORY?.....every where he go this beast conquer, talk about he discover the new world when people was a ready living in AMERICAS , FUCKING THIEF!!!!, we most go back to AFRICA the land of our ANCESTORS, long time ago our fathers had a religion.

  • thanks sooo much i loved this video.. well put together.. i love mi negro bello de portobelo..

  • may god bless all us PANAMANIANS ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DISPLACED AND FORGOTTEN

  • White Americans always believe they are are authority in every subject. Obviously, the author of this video has no knowledge of the Black Christ of Portobelo. There are statues of Christ in black all over this world. Only a fool would think that candles made a statue turn black.Original Anglo feartures? Please! American soldiers did not discover El Cristo Negro de Portobelo.

  • It is beautiful video and very informative. Thanks, my country is special because of the people. God bless us and them and the whole world.

  • The statue is made of black Cocobolo.

  • This guy is actually wrong when he says that the statue dates back in the 1800. El Nazareno arrived in Portobelo around 1658.

I'm not sure either about the candles making it black!

  • I don't know if it was the 'candle' that made him black, though...

    Portobelo, my Home!

  • QUE BONITO...

  • I saw this first hand when I lived in Puerto Pilon. Droves of people come walking from all over the country, many of them dressed in purple robes. I'm not Catholic so it seemed a little creepy, but I was also very impressed by their devotion and faith. Panamanians are very cool and friendly people.

  • Very good! I wished it could be longer.

    Thanks

  • Me gusta el video, muy bueno.

  • Great Video! Good picture quality and good narration! I want everybody to view it!
