  • you may not believe this but i was in the boiler of the 315 before, and my gradpa made the headlight for it

  • have u ever heard of the c-41 or c-21??

  • @norfolkwestern10 C-41s were standard Gauge 2-8-0s that the ones covered narrow and became the k-37s. C-21s were outside frame 2-8-0s originally build for the Crystal River Railroad in northern Colorado and were later sold to the DRGW becoming 360, and 361, also Crystal River sold what became DRGW 375 a c-25.

  • why do they paint the wheels on the cars with those white strips? i remember it being about like the alinement or something but whats the actual purpose?

  • @CGiordano464 its to tell if the breaks are locked up or not.

  • @Chatzi473 ohhhh thankyou

  • Awsome. I wish I was there, I love the D&RGW #315. I fell in love with that engine when I first saw a video of it moving under its own power. :D I also love those green D&RGW coachs. Is the D&S going to leave those coachs green. It makes it look like the San Juan is back. :D

  • Really great work Tim. That 473 cracks like a rifle! I rode behind it in 1967.

  • Awesome!

Now I really want to revisit the land of the narrow gauge! :)
