Classic Game Room - PAC-ATTACK Sega Game Gear review

I've played a cousin's copy of that game on my Game Gear when we were much younger. I was totally hooked on it.

I recommend Pac-Man Collection for GBA. More games, better graphics, and portability make for an awesome combination. And from what I understand it's fairly cheap.

You know there is a battery pack for the Game Gear that has at least 10 hours of gameplay. I love how it looks to because you have to hook it to your belt and it looks like a futuristic phazer or something lol.

I remember playing the heck out of this on my GBA back in the summer of '01. It was on the Pac-Man Collection, so not only was this game on there, but there were a few other Pac-Man variants you could play.

A port of this game (under the name "Pac-Panic") was even released for the unpopular CD-i system. Surprisingly enough, the port didn't suck. There's also a nice version on the popular GBC handheld.

I played Pac Attack as an unlockable game in Pac Man World 2. It was fun, but not really a Tetris/Tetris Attack/Dr. Mario caliber puzzle game.

the capacitors of that era were notoriously poor and had a tendancy to fail, many gamegears with a dim screen or failing audio can actually be restored to full working condition by replacing them
