I am going to be a freshman at Oswego next year I am from Long Island and I love snow especially winters 2010 and 2011 because i am gonna be a meteorology major. You didn't have a snowday for that there were still classes??? Doesn't make sense!!
anybody that would live in some God-forsaken hellhole like this has to be nuts. NY state in general blow bigtime, but this lake-effect crap is ridiculous.
Ahhh Oswego...I remember having to hold on to trees waiting for the wind to die down as I walked from Onondaga past the "wind tunnels" especially the one at Seneca...Doesn't look like it's too bad in this video...I remember not being able to see the Union from Tyler hall for 5 days!!! A 5 day whiteout! Yes I moved to Phoenix AZ after graduation
@NihongoMusic im not exactly in college yet, one more year, but i walk a mile pluss every day to the highschool in a tshirt and hoodie or just a t shirt.
@NihongoMusic A friend of mine does that.. we're in the southern part of the state... doesnt get too bad here but I get made fun off for dressing like a polar bear.... :)
You are a huge sissy. I just finished my 5 year stint doing the same thing except from ONEIDA not Lake Side, and there was barely any wind that day and what? 3 feet of snow??? Try filming on a day with 80 mph winds and 7 feet of snow! (Do you think I'm kidding? It really happened!!)
Yeah WTF.. I'm gonna be a Freshman dormed in ONEIDA.
Lakeside is RIGHT NEAR the heart of the campus.
I'm to short to trudge through the snow. TOO SHORT!!!! and I'll definitely get lost my first year in the winter there. I'm used to the winter and the drifts where I live are high but COME ON LAKESIDE. it's not a big deal there.

I do cherish my snow days (pun intended) at SUNY Oswego (1988-2008) -- greetings from overseas and a virtually snowless hometown!
