@devon8trillionaire It was said like 20 times during the game that he was playing on an injured ankle. He also hit a 3 in the last minute and the 2-point lay-up with 3 seconds left to go up by one. Nothing else he could do on the last shot, he contested it the best he could. I'm sure many teams would love to have a guy like Ehlo on their roster today.

Michael beat the Cavs thrice with his 3 shots (there is a shot part 3 when he is in Washington) vs Cleveland and Craig owned the Jazz with those 2 three-pointers.

Sad thing is that Ehlo defended the shot about as well as you could humanly ask someone to. He should only be dogged about it if he were being lazy or boneheaded during that play.

I just don't get basketball fans sometimes. "Hahaha, you played good D, but since that Hall of Famer made the shot in your face, then you suck!" Sick to imagine that if Ehlo didn't even try to play defense, he wouldn't be such an infamous character in NBA history.

Anyone that does not recognize Ehlo's unique form of greatness has no clue about the game of basketball. Any team would LOVE to have a player like Ehlo on it...a guy that works hard on defense, hits the three and NEVER gives up on a play (see the Dominique highlight). Craig Ehlo is one of the most under-appreciated player in NBA history.

Was Ehlo like Cleveland's John Starks? I grew up a Knicks fan who loved Starks and the crazy plays he made that energized the crowd, even if he wasn't consistent enough to be a star player/HOFer. This is a very impressive top ten here for Ehlo that makes me wonder if he was Cleveland's small-town lesser known equivalent of Starks, who had the advantage (in terms of exposure) of playing in the big apple. They seem kind of similar here and now I wonder who was better.

I was there for #1 with my dad; I was probably 11 or 12 at the time. I grew up in Akron and always felt that the Cavs were our team more than any other franchise. Ehlo lived in Fairlawn so some of my friends used to see him around. Glad to see some Cavs footage from when I was a kid!

Poor Ehlo made that awesome layup in Play #3 but we all know what happened after that: "in bounds pass to Jordan, Jordan at the foul line shot on Ehlo....GOOD BULLS WIN! THEY WIN IT!"....also Clip #2...that shot was late it never shouldve counted, the shot in Clip #1 was real close but it was good from what I saw...also i can't believe Ehlo blocked Dominique Wilkins on a dunk...the Cavs were so freakin talented in the late 80's/early 90's...Price, Doherty, Ehlo, Nance, Hot Rod Williams...amazing

You notice Lenny Wilkens is nowhere to be found. He was thrown out after the kiss-ass treatment the refs were giving Jordan earlier on. The Cavs made a huge comeback and Ehlo's shot (in Jordan's face mind you) capped it off. This game ended up going into overtime, where the Cavs eventually lost.

I remember #5(Ehlo's game tying 3) very well. That was on March 28, 1990. I was there and it was my 9th birthday. Ehlo's shot was certainly the highlight of the day for me. But if you weren't a Cavs fan, you certainly wouldn't even recall Ehlo's shot the slightest bit. That's because this game also included a 69 point performance by a certain individual.
