@ItLars That was sound active, and connected master/slave. In master/slave, they don't just mimic each other all the time, sometimes they do, and sometimes they alternate colors, but always in sync. This is on purpose, and cool programming. A lot of ADJ fixtures these days have Slave 1 and Slave 2 modes. Slave 1 just mimics, slave two will mimic sometimes, and do other things as well :)
those lights are fantastic. I can't wait to get a hold of my own pair. Was this down with your tuba 30's? What ever sub they may be they really filled the room really well. What's the track?
Yes, those are my Tuba 30's playing :) Medicine (extended mix) - Kim Leoni. It wasn't one of my favorite tracks until I played it while doing this video. Sounds fantastic in a big room with good subs! Now I find myself playing that track a lot...hehe... I use it for another lighting review I am uploading now, I'm going to have to start using a different track before I get people sick of it though...LOL.
Well... they are very different effects, kind of an apples to oranges there... and I haven't seen a pair of Reflex LED DMX in action. The Reflex LED I reviewed was a non-DMX (early version) and I only had one. A pair of Reflex LED DMX fixtures might be a bit more fun for fast songs, but are not useable for slow songs at all, whereas the Sunray Tri-LED's can be used either way. Fog also makes a big impact on how cool the Sunrays look for fast songs.
Sunray Tri-LED DMX lights are one of those effects that just fits in everywhere. They don't necessarily blow your mind in one area of use (though they do look rather fantastic in fog), but they cover a log of ground. The Reflex LED DMX fixtures are more targetted, and excell at their target, if that makes sense... :)
I believe you can, but the white is not really a full white, as it is a mixture of the red blue and green, and appears white close up, but over a distance, the color separates. But yes, you can control them via DMX, colors and motion. If you want a pure white though, you will want the Starball DMX's, which are the same thing basically, but with only white, and not other colors :)
Thanks! You should have seen these guys in person! If you listen close, you can here me say "wow" in the background...LOL... was trying to stay quiet for the vid, but I was really blown away in person. This is a BIG room too, the lights are 10 feet apart about about 9 feet off the ground, in a 60x80 foot room. Beams were strong in the fog for a good long distance, better than the camera shows :)
Damn this song is great, found it again in my library :)
I am planning to buy this light with a uc-3 controller,
A great replacement of my mirrorball.

Can you take control of the colors via DMX?
For example: will they do all white and have them slow rotate for a slow dance?

appears to be a definite hit, and there are a lot of videos and extremely positive reviews about this particular fixture...
