i loved the movie but was disappointed cause i wanted there to be aliens and stuff like what the show is known for but i still loved it and i read rumors that x files 3 is on its way!
Quick note: I accidentally removed a comment from someone who said, basically: "If you were a real fan you would love the movie." I didn't mean to delete it, and if said poster would like to post it again, please do.
Don't waste your time and money on this movie. I'm a fan of the old show and what a disapointment this film was. I'll give it 1 out of 5 stars. And that's to generous. The Dark Knight was a 5 out of 5 star film. This movie will be going to DVD very shortly so if you want to see it...wait until then and save yourself a few bucks.
I truly don't understand how anyone can say they LOVED this film. I can maybe see "liked" {not me though} but loved? The plot was a lame "Silence of the Lambs" attempt. That was as slow as watching paint dry. Carter took M & S out of the FBI {thats like taking Kirk and Spock out of the Federation}. Out of 126 tv episodes this one could be rated as number 100. Definately not in the top 10, 25, or even 50 best ever episodes. I love X, too! But when it's bad, it's bad. Peace
I agree on the DVD part. Its not like you would miss anything by missing this on the big screen. Quick question: You posted a 'thumbs down' on your post. Is that becuase you disliked the movie, or my review?

It was a good story but it didn't feel like an X-file.
Maybe that's just because the ones you remeber the most were the conspiracy episodes, and this was to be a stand alone.

TDK is way too overrated.
I loved this movie, and I'm a diehard fan.

That seems to be the general line (fmscribs seems to be the exception.) Most X-Files fans seemed to enjoy it still. I can understand that.

I must have hit the "thumbs down" icon by accident. I don't even remember doing it but there it is. Sorry my bad.

That's fine, I was just wondering!

i didn't like dark knight. thought it was 90% cgi/sfx and only 10% actual acting. so by the sounds of it i'll probably enjoy the x-files more.

Well, ya know, considering all the X-Files videos you've posted, I agree!
