  • @matthewakian2 well if they said Matt we have 2 rockets A we tested 50 times and B we tested 350 times you get to pick which one were strapping you into!

  • that thing is so badass

  • I know they got to go through a lot of checks, I just don't understand why everything takes so long?

  • @matthewakian2 government regulation!

  • SpaceX is the real future.

  • @ti994apc How about the Skylon spaceplane?

  • @matthewakian2 Skylon spaceplanes would be awesome. I would have a see a real work and survive re-entry. What would have been great is the Delta Clipper Experimental Advanced (DCXA).

  • @ti994apc Things should get really interesting in the next ten years. Rock on.

  • Rock on!!!

  • Godspeed! I hope the govt and roscosmos lets you combine COTS 2 and 3.

  • Space X could SOOO go to the space station! I can't wait to see that! Go Space X!

  • Soon plasma will be used for space travel instead of fossil fuels. That will make space travel much less cumbersome. Getting to will take 39 days instead of 6-8 months. So 6-8 months would get us where? Another galaxy? That should be interesting.

  • @PanFriedUnicorn Yeah, 39 days to Mars -- if you have a 20 Gigawatt nuclear reactor powering it.

  • @BattyFred 39 days isn't that farfetched..

  • And I get fined because my truck smoked too much on the way to getting it fixed. Pffffft. Humans.

  • YAAAH SPACEX BOO RAHH

  • You should do something with sound recording.

  • Awesome.

  • Awesome! Moar! Go SpaceX!

  • This is just what I need to toast a REALLY big marshmallow.

  • I want one...I want that one..

What kind of modifications do you at SpaceX have to make to the vacuum engine in order to simulate the actual firing in vacuum?..is there any alterations made from the test firing we see here and to the engine that goes the Falcon 9 third stage?..

is the rare metal bell housing attached?.. doesnt look like itand it probably makes little or no difference when test firing the engine itself and it probably could damage the cone...

  • maybe one day spacex will build a rocket that brings us to mars ? ;)

  • Stop by & check out a test some time. Get some suds from the Beer Barn & some good eats from BarbaraSue's Bar-B-Q (coming soon). You'll be impressed with all of 'em.

  • SpaceX. Top nerds.

  • Love the sound! #thrust

  • Space X - The reason I became interested in space :)

  • I can't wait for the next flight, hopefully to the ISS. Go SpaceX!
