What a sad movie, I was only able to watch it twice.

Oh, and I just love the "required" Confederate flag on the truck window to prove how racist them evil white folk is. I mean, not that those 2 weren't, but you won't see a movie with a black guy raping & killing little white girls that that has an NAACP or even BET sticker on his truck.

Excellent movie, fantastic cast. Watch out for Anthony Heald playing an almost identical role to that he did in "Silence of the Lambs" and Doug Hutchison of "Green Mile" fame. Also marvellous performance by ex Danger Man / The Prisoner - Patrick McGoohan as the Judge.

This was a riveting movie! The first time I saw it I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.

I recall being so disgusted and angry when the rape scene took place, and was glad to see Samuel Jackson take the law into his own hands. Even though I'm not a big fan of vigilante justice, those two redneck crackers got what was coming to them.

The whole cast was terrific. Matthew McConaughey, Samuel Jackson and Kevin Spacey did a great job in particular.

An absolutely amazing movie. The cast of sheer brilliance. Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Spacey, Oliver Platt, Charles S. Dutton, (so underrated), Chris Cooper, Ashley Judd, Kiefer & Donald Sutherland. Classic flick IMO and it's so underrated. I have no idea why.
