Linde is a mini-Est who comes a little earlier. Although Merric is a definite choice for a successful team, Linde can easily OHKO enemies with her Aura tome. If you didn't train her, you can give it to another mage/sage/dark mage/sorcerer/bishop.

In my opinion, Linda isn't a great unit, but she isn't a bad unit either. Her stats are fine but why bother with her when Marich could be at Lv15-17? Also her durability is worse than Marich's. I usually give her Aura tome to Rena anyway.

P.S: I heard that Sheeda makes a good reclassed mage. Also, Caesar makes a good reclassed shaman/dark mage.

Ah, but there happens to be an arena in the very chapter you recruit her. She also has better MAG growths then Lena.

Except her 18 HP/3 Def isn't going to last very long in the arena. Despite her high 7 speed(for her level), she will get doubled by mercs and myrms. And don't let me get started on fighters and pirates. Assuming they have 5 Str and an Iron Axe(12 might), they will do 9 DMG minimum(a 2HKO). And 8 Atk w/ Thunder(7 w/ Fire) is phail.

That's why you hit B if the enemy is unfavorable. I got my Linde to 20/20 on that chapter without RNG abuse, cheats, or savestates.

That's favoritism, boy. A.K.A babying. If Linda worked out well for you, GJ. Srsly, don't use babying as an argument as to whether a unit is good. This is why Navarre>Raddy and Shiida>Est as far as game completion is concerned.

As far as Wi-Fi is concerned, you may have a case for Linda being a good unit, though.

I've seen peeps use personal experience in unit debates.

example: Lou vs Lilina

People say that Lily is the best mage because she has a 75% mag growth. Her spd is only 35% Peeps use PE and say their Lily caps speed. On avg, she gets 20 Spd. Lou gets 25. Spd is more vital than mag. A mag screwed Lou is still useable. A spd screwed Lily is not.

@darkandroid125 hmm i see your point but lilinas higher magic growths and luck so i would still put her as better than lugh his higher speed is good but atleast lilina can kill stuff. but overall i prefer both and i am quite skilled at training characters that most people consider weak but they are not such as sophia i love sophia,wendy,linde,est,zeiss and so on because they harbor the most potential out of all your other units just like the trainees in sacred stones so i go for potential

I train my units for WiFi, so I take my time to train the units that have better growths over the units that have good but not great growths however come at a good level.

Linde comes at a time in the game when Merric should be Lv15+(he got to Lv16 by C11 thanks to all the Curate levels I gave him). Better durability too, I might add. Merric should be on any team, all the time. Same with dudes like Ogma, Nabarl, Hardin, and Roger.

Linde is just useless. Screw Aura, just use Lena's Level E magic and your still fine. Lena is the best bishop possible.

I use Linde and Lena as Sages because they are both equally skilled and I use Elice as a Swordmaster because she will get maxed Skill and Speed easily.

Elice? You mean Marths sister you get at the third to last chapter? What good can she do in a few chaps?

Give her forged weapons so she can kill alot (Wyrmslayer and Wo Dao). Just promote her when you get her and use a seraph robe for extra hp which can get her hp close to 50. She gains about 90 exp per kill so she levels up almost every turn.

I just assumed her to be useless and I let her hang back, I never imagined using her for anything but the Aum spell (and at that, i only used it on Bord who was the only guy i lost. I actually lost him on purpose so i could get Athena, but then i realized i needed LESS than 15 characters and i was left with no Athena or Bord so...yeah.)

Athena's makes a better sniper than Norne so I use Elice as a swordsmaster because its almost vital you have one on your team.

How do you know these things? I think Athena's a much better Swordmaster and that Gordin's the best archer. I've tried Norne as a Sniper but she wasn't as good as Gordin or Wolf, though i've never seriously used Wofl as a central character.

I use wolf as a horseman because i dont use any paladins and I dont use Gordin :p

all the archers suck wolf and sedgard are okey but you can get better archers by reclassing

If a character starts out as a mage, I reclass them to bishop after promotion to even out str/mag and resistance. If a character starts out as a cleric, I reclass them to a sage.

Lindes good for me max spd. skill. 20 magic 13 res. 5 def max luck Lena Always gets around 15 magic 20 if sage max resistents low speed 20 skill max luck Linde harder to raise but staticticaly better but it depends on your luck though

I should seriously RN abuse Merric and Linde, make an unstoppable team that owns all in their path....except for those irksome Manaketes with the Mage Stones...I'll just introduce them to Marth or Ogma. :D
