Murray had to play three days on the trot Federer got a day and a half rest, thats not fair. Maybe the organisers should think more about things like that. Roger has stated that he see's himself in Murray, which is a huge compliment to Murray's game. If the champ can see Murrays potential who are we to say otherwise. Murray is one of the very few to have a winning record against Roger, that speaks for its self.

murray has improved no end in the past year or so. i believe he is now the real deal and like you say his record against federer speaks for itself. whilst murray will probably never scale the heights federer has reached in career, he is now a major force to be reckoned with and its surely just a matter of when and not if he wins a slam.

I have to agree with you, I want Federer to take that record too, I think for what he has achieved in his career, the the type of game he plays and the sheer class, I also hope he should get the record. But it wont be handed to him, thats the problem.

its not going to be easy for the fed to get the record as there are 3 genuine top class players in nadal, djokovic and murray who will be tough nuts to crack. a couple of years back there was no dbout he would do it but like you say it wont be handed ot him on a plate. id love to see him win the french, he deserves that.

Im not that sure on Nadal, he doesnt play well at the beginning of the season and he is not favourite for hard courts. More like Murray,Tsonga,Federer, but you just never know, might be a unknown....lol lol

His playing wasn't up to par yesterday especially against the seasoned Federer in the toughest major without a day's rest.

I was however, surprised at how unnerved he became and lost whatever juice he had, early in the match, never really changing gear.

Not a good position to be in when playing against possibly the greatest all time player.

He just got beat by the greatest tennis player I have ever witnessed. And his game wasnt as consistent as it was against Nadal. But still trying to beat Nadal and then Federer back to back, is a HUGE ask for ANYONE even Djockovic. So by no means does he suck!
