However, if we read the liner notes in Vitalogy, you'll find a little quote "a CD is like bad acid" & around the time the album came out, Eddie made his disdain of CD's clear and espoused the joys of Vinyl.

If anything, this song is intended to have a double entendre.

It was only when I got it for my 18th birthday shortly there after and saw the artwork in the cd booklet that I saw the references to vinyl
